Beautifully aromatic with ripe apricot, dried peach and apricot preserves, followed by white flowers, clover honey and fresh almond. Medium-bodied and surprisingly supple, with concentrated stone-fruit character but none of the sugary sweetness the aroma initially suggests. Apricot skin, cardamom and a subtle kernel-like bitterness develop through the middle, giving the spirit welcome structure. There's some alcoholic warmth on the finish, but the fruit persists impressively, leaving dried apricot, almond skin and delicate spice behind. Pure, expressive and unmistakably fruit-driven.
