Aslina Wines is based in Stellenbosch and was founded by Ntsiki Biyela; who is widely recognized as South Africa’s first Black female winemaker. Aslina Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenbosch is a dry, unoaked, 100% Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa’s Coastal Region.The wine is made from sustainably farmed, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, with a focus on biodiversity and minimal intervention. On the nose and palate you see bright tropical fruit (passion fruit, pineapple), zesty lime and grapefruit, gooseberry, lemon zest, and green apple, with mineral tones and light grassy notes. We suggest pairing Aslina Sauvignon Blanc with light dishes such as goat cheese, herb infused chicken, veal piccata, enchiladas with bright sauces, and fresh salads.
