Chateau Lanessan (2021)

This vineyard, located in the Haut-Medoc region of Bordeaux, has been owned by the Bouteiller family since the 18th century. The wine shows aromas of currants, wild berries, bell peppers and hints of anise. On the palate, the Cabernet Sauvignon fruit dominates with notes of black currants, peppery herbs, and a touch of green olive. The high percentage of Merlot(35%) lends a roundness that adds depth and complexity to the wine. The finish is fruit forward and quite persistent.
