Made primarily from Mencía, the standout indigenous red grape of Bierzo, blended with small amounts of local white and red grapes. Known for being fruit-forward, aromatic, and velvety, it features notes of red and dark berries, wild herbs, licorice, and distinct minerality. The grapes are harvested by hand from biodynamically farmed vines (aged 40 to 90 years) grown on the region's steep, stony, and schist-rich soils. Perfect for grilled lamb or roasted chicken, tapas or Spanish cheeses.
