Domaine De Piaugier Gigondas (2021)

This Gigondas is organically farmed with a rating between 90 - 95 from the Southern Rhone region consisting of a blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, and 15% Syrah.It is medium bodied, velvety, with aromas of fresh cherries, crushed rose, wild strawberries, raspberries, thyme, and sweet spices.Post fermentation, this wine is aged in a combination of Old French Oak barrels and concrete tanks for two years.

This pairs exceptionally well with gamey meats, roasted lamb, duck breast, or hearty vegetarian or meat stews containing wild herbs like Rosemary and Thyme.
