Domaine Jean Louis Chave St Joseph Rouge (2021)

This highly rated, 93 point organically grown, Northern Rhone red wine is 100% Syrah.It is known for its markers of black raspberries, graphite, dark fruit, white and black pepper, as well as leafy undertones, and subtle floral, rose notes.It is grown on steep granite slopes and is fermented in a mix of old wooden barrels, stainless steel and cement for 2 - 4 weeks and then transferred to oak and neutral oak barrels for 18 - 20 months.
