Duroche Gevrey-Chambertin (2023)

The 2023 vintage from Domaine Duroché is defined by elegance, transparency, and a classic and vivid expression of Gevrey: smoky cherry and dark berries, violet, fresh earth, and subtle mineral tension. On the palate it is silky and succulent, with the savory structure and a finish with a refreshing saline minerality that make Duroché one of the Côte de Nuits’ most compelling producers.On the nose we get aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant, smoky berries, and a delicate floral lift. We suggest pairing with Duck, roast chicken with mushrooms, lamb, or aged Comté.
