Oze no Yukidoke Oze X Rose Junmai Daiginjo Sake

Oze no Yukidoke “Oze × Rose” is a pink Junmai Daiginjo from Ryujin Shuzo in Gunma that uses a special red sake yeast to create A lovely rose-colored sake that exists within a sphere of balance between sweet and tart, and has a flavor that resembles wild strawberries. Some tasters describe the Oze no Yukidoke “ Oze x Rose “ as “a ballroom dance in a glass,” where color suggests sweetness but the palate stays bright, crisp, and layered rather than cloying. While on the nose we get aromas of pink grapefruit, cranberry, wild strawberry, hints of grass, and light sherry/yeasty notes. We suggest pairing it with cheese, foie gras, charcuterie, oysters, shellfish, sushi, sashimi, tempura, yakitori, spicy dishes where acidity and tart fruit can cut through fat and heat.
