Suigei Brewing’s : Suigei “Harmony” Drunken Whale is a blended Junmai Daiginjo from Kochi that’s designed to be an aromatic, food‑friendly, modern-style sake. Facing the sea of Tosa where whales swim, Kochi Prefecture is rich in seafood. They make Sake with the concept of “Liquor matched to the dishes under the Tosa food culture.” The fragrance of tropical fruits and stone fruits shine with hints of melon, pear, strawberry, mango, papaya and sweet rice notes. On the palate, we have a lush, round , and juicy flavor with an off dry finish. The finish is firm, with a light crisp finish, and acidity. We recommend pairing the Suigei “Harmony” Drunken Whale with sashimi, sushi, white‑fish crudo, light salads, hot pot, tempura, crab, lobster, shellfish, shrimp, grilled fish, and even cheese and fruit plates.
