Beautifully expressive aromas of butterscotch, caramelized sugar and wildflower honey with ripe plums, dried apricots and vanilla bean. Distinctive notes of sandalwood, toasted coconut and exotic incense emerge with air, followed by cinnamon, clove, allspice and hints of black tea. Full-bodied and wonderfully textured, with rich layers of caramel, toasted coconut and dried stone fruit supported by lively rye spice. The Mizunara oak introduces an attractive aromatic complexity, bringing sandalwood, delicate herbal notes and a slightly exotic woody character. Velvety and concentrated through the middle, with excellent balance between sweetness, spice and oak. The finish is long and warming, showing cinnamon, vanilla, toasted wood and lingering fragrant spice.
